Can't make the event?

Here are some ideas for people who can't make the event but still want to recycle their Styrofoam™:

  • Ask your neighborhood Facebook or Nextdoor group if anyone is willing to bring your items to the event for you. (Repay them with holiday cookies?)
  • Read our What Do I Do With It? recycling guide for some year-round recycling and reuse options for Styrofoam™ items.
  • Save it for our 2019 STYRO-Roundup events. (Scheduled in the new year.)

If you can't recycle your Styrofoam™, please put it in your

garbage.

Bag up packing peanuts so they don't blow away when your garbage hauler lifts your cart. Styrofoam™ packaging is not recyclable in your curbside bin or at county recycling and disposal facilities.
